Suanprung Psychiatric Hospital aims to be a leader in academic Psychiatry setting the standard for excellence in training, research, clinical care and substance abuse treatment. We will develop our staff by inspiring and supporting their efforts in training, research and participation in academic conferences. We will serve our community by promoting mental health awareness and empowering our patients and their communities with extensive rehabilitation programs. Academic Plan
Suanprung continues to develop its academic mission. Currently Suanprung is focusing its research efforts in three areas this year: 1) treatment and prevention of alcohol dependence, 2) development of programs to enable Primary Care facilities to deliver quality Psychiatric care, 3) research the stratification of costs involved in the treatment of mental illness.
